Welcome!
The Housing Authority of the Borough of Fort Lee was established in 1968
to provide decent, safe and affordable housing. The Housing Authority has
maintained and continues to maintain a commitment to provide programs and
support systems to all low-income households.
The Housing Authority’s mission is consistent with the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
to meet the needs of the low-income population we serve.
The Housing Authority administers a 40-unit Public Housing site on Teresa Drive
in Fort Lee, as well as a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program which provides
rental assistance to approximately 490 families. It also administers a Housing
Choice Voucher Family Self-Sufficiency Program and a First-Time Homebuyer Program.
Fort Lee Housing Authority works with a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation entitled
Fort Lee Assistance and Support Housing Corporation.
