The Housing Authority of the Borough of Fort Lee was established in 1968 to provide decent, safe affordable housing. The Housing Authority has maintained and continues to maintain a commitment to provide programs and support systems to all low income households.
The Housing Authority’s mission is consistent with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to meet the needs of the low income population we serve.
The Housing Authority administers a 4o unit Public Housing site on Teresa Drive in Fort Lee as well as a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program which provides rental assistance to approximately 490 families. It also administer a Housing Choice Voucher Family Self Sufficiency Program and a First Time Home Buyers Program.
Fort Lee Housing Authority works with a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) corporation entitled Fort Lee Assistance and Support Housing Corporation (FLASH Corp.)
